Jemma’s Implant Story

I’ve had ongoing problems with my teeth from a young age and had veneers for about 10 years before I came to see Dr Young for help. I was very unhappy with my dentist at the time and kept having difficulties with my veneers, which had a habit of falling out just before a big event! I am a beautician, so a great smile is really important to me.

I remember that I always used to cover my mouth when I smiled and was wary of what I ate in case it damaged my teeth- I used to cut up an apple rather than bite into it.

Understandably, I was a little apprehensive when I booked the first appointment with Dr Young, but I needn’t have worried. Peter and his team were extremely professional, caring and calm throughout. I have now had a series of implants and crowns at the clinic and my teeth feel so much better now. Throughout each procedure the treatment was fully explained to me beforehand, and I never felt any pain – the whole team were very calm and professional.

Now my treatment is finished I would say that my confidence has returned once again. I can also eat anything what I want without a second thought, even apples! I have decided to stay with Dr Young and his team for all my general dentistry and hygiene treatments. I would highly recommend Dr Young to anyone needing implants or general dentistry – I know that you will be as happy as I am with the results!
