Payment

We accept cash or cheques payable to Oral Implants ltd. We also request that all fees are settled at the time of treatment. Please be aware that there is a 2% administration fee for payments of £500 or more.

Many of our referral patients choose a pay as you go scheme which is also available to all of our routine care patients.

For routine care patients joining our practice we also offer Denplan as a way to budget for regular dental treatment with Dr Young and the hygienist. The key benefits of Denplan are long term preventative care, monthly budgeting and peace of mind.

Failed appointment charges at Oralimplants Ltd.

If you fail an appointment, you may be charged a fee. This is especially likely for long appointments, that is ones over 15 minutes. The fees that you have been quoted for your treatment does not take into account failed appointments.

Failed to Attend Charges

To cover the surgery running costs of a failed appointment with the dentist there will be a charge of £3 per minute (for example, a missed 30-minute appointment will incur a charge of £90).

To cover the surgery running cost of a failed appointment with the hygienist a charge of £1.50 per minute (Example, a missed 30-minute appointment will incur a charge of £45).

Late cancellation charges – 24hrs notice (the day before)

Charges will be made if we cannot fill the appointment time. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us 24 hours notice or more (this excludes weekend days and bank holidays).

For surgical operations, we require 72 hours cancellation as these are appointments are usually for 1 hour or longer. If we can fill a cancellation you may not be charged.

Failed appointments waste our valuable time which we could have used to help patients with dental emergencies (toothache, lost crowns, dental abscess and post- operative bleeding).

We don’t enjoy applying these charges – a simple and timely phone call avoids the charges. Please let us know if you can’t make an appointment as soon as you know.
