Phil’s Implant story

I have been a general patient at Peter’s practice in Northwich for many years, in fact before Peter took over the practice. Peter has been a super dentist for me over the years. However when an old crown failed 2 years ago I knew that I wanted a fixed tooth to replace it, not a denture. I play regular 5 a side football so it was important not to feel conscious of a tooth falling out whilst playing or playing sport with a gap in my mouth.

I was very apprehensive prior to the implant treatment itself- I have never been in hospital so the thought of surgery was quite daunting. I shouldn’t have worried. I was in the chair for about an hour and the procedure was very straightforward and surprisingly pain free.

And now the treatment is complete my implant feels brilliant – I treat it like a natural tooth but with a little more respect! I also have regular 6 month check ups to ensure that all is going well.
If I ever needed another implant doing I wouldn’t hesitate in having one again, and also I would always ask Peter to perform the implant surgery. He’s a brilliant guy and I trust him explicitly.
